EMBERS
EMBERS was a Smart City project focused on the development and market deployment of a mobility cloud platform built upon Ubiwhere’s Smart Parking and Smart Traffic solutions: Mobility Backend as a Service (MBaaS). The platform replaced traditional all-in-one systems by enabling municipalities to integrate devices and applications from multiple providers, provided they ensured interoperability through an open mobility API.
By lowering barriers to entry for developers, MBaaS facilitated the participation of SMEs and startups in the urban mobility market. The platform’s capacity to address urban challenges was validated through trials integrating FIRE+, a hackathon, an app challenge, and pilot implementations in Porto, Cologne, and Trikala.
Task
Pointify supported the Communication and Dissemination Work Package of the project. Our role included the development of the project’s visual identity, the creation and management of a dedicated blog featuring thematic articles, and the production of promotional and institutional materials, including videos and communication assets. Through a structured communication strategy, Pointify supported EMBERS’ positioning, stakeholder engagement, and market visibility at European level.
